The Forum will select one nonprofit partner to collaborate with for two years, providing talent and support in a mutually beneficial relationship.

What is The Forum Ally?

The Forum of Executive Women looks strategically at how it can interact with outside organizations in furtherance of our mission. A major component of this initiative is The Forum Ally program, which aligns The Forum of Executive Women with one non-profit entity during the course of two years to build a mutually beneficial relationship providing a source of talent and support for The Forum Ally.  The 2024-2028 Forum Ally is Why Not Prosper.

  • Benefits

    🌟 $5,000 unrestricted annual grant to be used by the Ally ($10,000 total). 


    🌟 Additional financial support for the Ally’s annual fundraiser, such as the purchase of a table at an in person event.

     

    🌟 Plan an annual event to highlight the work of The Forum Ally and ways for Forum members to engage with The Forum Ally. 


    🌟 Provide complimentary attendance for one (1) representative (employee) of The Forum Ally at The Forum’s four Signature Events during each year of the two-year relationship. 


    🌟 For each year of the two-year relationship, welcome a member of the Forum Ally organization who meets the criteria of The Forum Mentoring Program to participate in The Forum Mentoring Program.


    🌟 The Forum provides visibility among its membership for The Forum Ally on website, socials, and email.

  • Nomination Criteria

    🌟 Must be an active Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or fiscally sponsored organization for at least 4 years. 


    🌟 Must have a paid Executive Director (or equivalent) who does not currently serve as a member of The Forum’s Board of Directors. 


    🌟 Must possess a mission that is aligned with, or complimentary to that of The Forum, or must provide programming or services that target unmet needs of girls, women, and gender expansive individuals in the region.


    🌟 Be located and serve residents in the Greater Philadelphia Area. 


    🌟 Have an annual operating budget above $300,000 and below $1,000,000 and in possession of at least two full years (24-months) of independently prepared, audited or reviewed financial statements.

    🌟 View a list of past Forum Allies at the bottom of this page.


    🌟 The application form will ask you to submit the organization's Form 990 filing and two most recent financial statements, finalized and audited.


    🌟 If your review/audit for 2025 is not completed, please submit your draft/unaudited statements.


    🌟  If you have anything additional to add, applicants may add additional videos, links or resources at the end of the application.

  • Next Steps

    🌟 Selection of The Forum Ally for 2026-2028 will be made by The Forum Ally Committee in May 2026 based on an application and interview process.


    🌟 The Forum Ally will be expected to execute a letter of agreement with The Forum formalizing the partnership.


    🌟 The 2026-2028 Forum Ally will be announced at The Forum’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026 – applicants should hold the event date should they be selected.

WHY NOT PROSPER

2024-2026 Forum Ally

Since 2001, Why Not Prosper has supported women in their re-entry from prison to the community. Why Not Prosper provides programing and residential and community services through their Resource Center.
